Mentors in Violence Prevention (MVP) is a program that strives to empower male bystanders to aid in solving world violence. MVP actively works to create a culture where male violence is socially unacceptable. Sessions involve groups of ten to fifteen males engaging in an open forum using interactive dialogue and real-life scenarios to illustrate that violence against women is a man's issue. Peer discussion addresses the powerful role men can play in creating a nonviolent culture.
