Our Mission

The Jean Nidetch Women’s Center is a resource center committed to meeting the diverse needs of the UNLV campus community by providing programs and services to educate, support, motivate and empower lives. With an emphasis on women’s concerns, the Women’s Center promotes self-awareness and self-sufficiency, equity and an understanding of the evolving roles of men and women.

Now Availabe Lactation Room
We now have a Lactation Room available, to support the UNLV campus; all student, faculty and staff mom's are welcome! We are equipped with a Lactina Multi-User Breast Pump and a refrigerator to store your milk. All you need to do is bring your attachments. We recommend the Lactina double pumping kit model: 67094. You can find this kit at Target and Babies R Us. We hope to see you at the JNWC!
